$1000 For a 12'' Piraya?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
12" plus pirayas are always expensive, as piranhas that are large require sedation, a plastic cage to ship or they bite through. that's why most larger piranhas are expensive. anything over 12" and also depend on the price of the fish to begin with.

a large rhom. 3" rhom $25
12" probably 400 bucks
15" probably 600-800
18" over 1000 if you could find one

small piraya 3" $100-150 8 years ago $250
7" $300 plus
10" $4-500
>12" rarely offered, if they are its over 600 each
> 14" ones over 1000 anyday
> 18" one...there should be one floating around right?

but see, the fish start off more expensive too

old school piranha keepers are j bolin from ohio, knifeman from ohio, wayne from canada, Al from Canada. over 10 years ago there was this huge piranha fiasco!

Old School-That brought back memories man......

A rhom was just purchased-Not posted any pics of the fish on ruler yet, that is supposidly bigger than 18 inch-Just laid 2K for it he said.....

And Al's has the biggest Piraya right now that we know of as well....Lets just say he laid down major coin years ago for a 20+ inch Piraya....

Anyhow one day I would love to run into some of these larger specimens....

I think that 1000 $ is bogus for one! I would never buy anything full grown, i prefer to buy small and watch them grow.
