I had to throttle back the returns on the 300, so instead of just valving it down I made a third outlet to my 125. I could actually add another 75-90g tank onto it as well if I run the pump wide open. All of the overflows are all pipe with no valves. if the overflow can't keep up I just slow the return with the ball valves.

tell me if i have this right, you regulate the flow from the sump to the tank with a valve and the tank just overflows to the sump? im planning a 1000 gal indoor pond and possibly a 300 gal acrylic build and trying to plan the filteration
