do you guys think i would have to worry about a 100g acrylic on my second story if i put it next to a load bearing wall?

i have my 100 gal glass tank in my second story of my house. no major problems so far.

my tanks are on my second floor and i haven't had a problem, my steps run along the middle of my house so my tank is at either sides of the staircase ,you shouldn't have a problem! remember after the weight of the tank and water the (decor) slate, rock, coral etc.. adds on as well! good luck!

k cool i figured id be alright i just wanted some reassurance
thanks for the advice...if anyone else has some input itll be appreciated even though i got the info i needed

I had a 125g on my 2nd floor in my house for 2 years and no problems. Also I had a 125g in a 3rd floor apartments for 5 years.

unless your house is made outta toothpicks and bubblegum, your good.

I agree. If your floor can't support that, you probably shouldn't be walking around on it.

do you guys think it will matter that i also have a plasma tv and bed and other things in my room and the stand is pretty heavy itself should that make a difference?
