As long as you keep up the WC's, I'm sure the fish will be fine. I was just messin with ya. I do think you should invest in bigger heaters, though. Those little guys will have to work too hard & that increases the risk of malfunction. Colder water slows the cycle down, so if you're gonna buy a new heater anyway, get a Hydor Theo thats rated for the whole 100 gallons, then just use the small heater down in the sump.

oh and just so you know i went with only having the 550gph sump and 2 175gph HOBS. thats only 900gph and it is super clean. with the turtles in it!

thats parssially the reason but i did have a lot of fish in it but now only the two 3'' bluegills reamin. they ripped up all the other fish. there agressive!! thats y im going to get an oscar and either a huge pleco or an adonis catfish.
oh yeah.. i have 3 fish remaininb but i put the 2 1/2'' perch in the 20 gallon. im waiting till he gets bigger before i put him in with the bluegills. i dont wan the perch to get ripped up because he's such a good-lookin fishie
