Many many year ago when the life expectancy was much shorter, it wasnt uncommon to marry and have kids very young. The only reason is so surprising to us is because the level of immaturity of youth, and even non-youth today.

I saw on the news a few years back where a 9 year old had been raped. No one thought to give her a pregnancy test as she had never menstruated. By the time they realized she was pregnant it was too late for an abortion.
One comment the father had made stuck in my head. The baby had been given up for adoption and clearly was no longer a part of this little girl's day to day activities, but the scar on her belly from the c- section.... She would see that every day as she got dressed for the rest of her life.

There are more cases like this, all sad. Unless your talking about the cave men days girls of this age giving birth was looked down upon, it happened but was looked down upon, it is unhealthy for a girl to give birth at this age now right risky her body is not developed enough to go through childbirth even if it ws developed enough to get pregnant. In most case the other genetic donor is much older than the female, disgusting. If it were my little sister or girl i would be facing criminal charges as well.

That's the problem with the world today, everyone wants to push the line of what is moral and what is not.
Prime example here... too much of this going on. Who cares about the baby's life.

Really guys? We know absolutely nothing about this situation besides a extremely young girl gave birth. Yet we immediately judge and point fingers at the parents? What about the person who impregnated her? What about the girl herself?
We know nothing. We don't know if the girl was raped, if it was consensual, if she was slipped a roofie at a friends house, etc.
In Africa, there is a belief that if you have sex with a virgin, you will cure AIDS. What this leads to is many young girls getting raped, and contracting AIDS. Is that still the parents' fault, because they failed to tell their daughter not to get raped?
Reality is that this is a sad situation, to say the least. How would you feel if your daughter becomes pregnant at 11? Now how would you feel if your daughter gets pregnant at 11, and everyone is rushing at you with pitchforks?
There is a common trend on this forum to bash humans, saying humans are horrible creatures hellbent on destructing the world, incapable of decency, blah blah blah. How about we be different? How about we recognize that this is a messed up situation, and feel sorry for the girl? Feel empathetic, sympathetic, love. Not hate. Not judgmental.
I feel sorry for the little girl. Pregnancy is horrid for someone in their 20s, I can just imagine what it must have been like for her. Regardless of if it was rape or consensual I just can't belive someone would do something like that to a little girl who most likely hasn't even gone through puberty yet. This whole situation must have been rather tramatic for the girl.

and you can't just automatically point fingers at the parents. anyone's daughter or son can go to the neighbor's house to play and have sex without anyone finding out. that wouldn't really be the parent's fault. it's a sad sad situation that this happened but i really gotta hold off judgement because i dont' know all the facts
i wonder who the father really is and if it's a boy her age, i'd imagine how bad the boy's parents may feel. SPEAKING OF WHICH, for those who'd kill the father of the baby regardless of his age, what if it was your 11 year old son who did it? how would you feel? how would your feelings differ? would you want to kill the 11 year old girl? would you want to kill your own son? would you let the 11 year old's dad kill your son? please answer,............
i actually have a cousin who was around this girl's age that had had sex with a 13 year old boy who is actually her uncle. (her dad's 13 year old brother)..............yikes,.............

However, you brought up an interesting point. I was under the impression that you can't get pregnant until you have hit puberty. Conversely, you can't impregnate a girl unless you have gone through puberty. I did some google searches, and can't come up with a clear answer.....
