I bet the up keep for that thing is a lot of work but if I could of the perfect tank for myself that's exactly what it would look like. Can't even imagine what it cost though . Awesome tank though!!

Curious how you do water changes? I'm assuming you have a line plumbed right up to the tank.

There is a 275g tank in my garage where I age and treat water. I use a large siphon device to remove water and it goes straight down the sewer drain. Water changes happen every 10-14 days. I will be setting up a drip system soon so that waste water goes to the garden. i havent cleaned the inside glass at al since i set it up in october. the niger cats have moved some large rocks and driftwood so I will get the snorkel mask on soon and re-aquascape the tank again.

the cost of everything=priceless!

Small update: I added a small female festae to the mix. Hopefully, she doesn't become an expensive snack! Only the ngt and pikes have shown any interest.

Beautiful build!
Thanks! It's still not finished. I have plans for a drip system, 90g quarantine/hospital tank, and a cover for the stand. Slowly but surely; time and $ are always the limited resources in a project like this
