no problems with the pacu hitting or biting the liner?
I have a large pacu in my 1100 intex and have had zero problems so far. I would suggest laying down a layer of Styrofoam before setting the pool up to help with the insulation.

my pacu dont hit the sides very often, since it isnt clear glass they can see it better i guess. but every now and again they do and no issues. i have pleco's all over the place sucking on it thats more of a concern to me than the pacu.

i pet my pacu and they eat out of my hands every night. they are great, and growing like weeds. they are both just over a foot long. maybe 14"
both of mine are over 20" now. they each hit their growth spurt a year, and maybe a year and a half ago, and have been growing slowly since. now it seems like their starting another growth spurt, but now their filling out and getting rounder, as opposed to length like the 8"-16" spurt we commonly see in them
