That stand look's look's beatifull and well built.

But how much does that thing weigh (HEAVY) or is it actually fairly light.
 
It was actually not that heavy at all. It is definitely heavier that a LFS stand, but not that heavy at all.
 
beautiful stand... the project was total success.. i don't know how i missed the end of this.. but glad i got back..
 
nice stand...im going to use your thread to try and make me the same stand for a 100gallon plexi tank. The only different approach i will take, is im going to try the low profile look. I was thinking maybe 12 - 18 inchs max for height of stand.
 
Low stands are great, but I've never liked the low flow you get when trying to siphon out water. If you build it that short, make sure to get a pump to help with water changes.
