I cheated a little and bought the doors because I wanted them to match the rest of the house. I got them mounted . Heres some current pics. Bought everything else I need for the canopy today so should start on that soon.

I made some progress on the canopy today. The idea is to have the whole wood part of the canopy hinge up out of the way with gas props for assistance. Here is the frame I welded up. The T5 lights will be attached to the frame and will be used just when the hood is open. the rest of the lights will attach to the wood top.

Here is a detailed photo. I used 7/8" round bar with a 1/4" hole in it with a set screw for the pivots to sandwich the wood and weld everything to. It pivots on the 1/4" bars. Any other ? just ask.Lil_Stinker;4302619; said:We may need detailed plans on the hidden latch system
