pricing on a 500 gallon? i could pick up... serious buyer

The biggest he has done is close to 300 gallons he said. He also mentioned that his glass company does not carry heavy glass so i don't think your going to get a 500 gallon from him.

Exactly right....well sort of......we dont carry any glass thicker than 1/4" at my location. I can get good discounts on heavy plate and tempered from our sister company in Columbus Oh. Give me the dimensions you want and i will look into it. Ive never done anything near that big though. I do alot of long tanks. Ive got an add on the Louisville Ky craigslist if anyone is curious.:D

Not unless its about 30 feet long. lol. 30' x 18" x 18" that would be interesting to see.

A 360" (thats 30 feet) x 18" x 18" would be.... umm about 505 gallons? Thats would be cool as hell. Along an entire wall of a large house. In wall even.

The glass sheets i use come in 144x108. So 12 ft is about it. I thought a huge 12ft x 12ft L-shapped tank would be awesome. Ive been wanting to try to build one on a much smaller scale just to see if i can.

That would be cool. Do a corner of your living room.

My family used to have a 10 foot tank and we were able to keep things together that normally wouldn't work. The fish were able to hide or leave when the big Oscar came by. It was heavily planted.

A 12 x 12' L would be awesome.

I would have to build it in place because i have no idea how you could move it. Im moving into a new house the weekend after xmas and the whole finished basement will be my new fishroom, and the garage my workshop, so maybe i will give an L-shape a try and do a thread with pics as i go. Maybe something smaller like 3ftx3ft.

Absolutely. A 3 x 3 or 5 x 5 would be great for a corner tank in your fish room. Make sure you put some pics up of your future fish dungeon.

Can't wait till I get my own place. This economy is killing me.
