Update: Not too, too much growth but I have been noticing reds coming in! I have come the conclusion that he is a Zhen Zhou “blue dragon”. Here are some pics from a few minutes ago, it’s so hard to get any good pictures, it’s hard to adjust the lighting and he doesn’t sit still

Definitely the red has grown on him. That's what I love about raising a flowerhorn from baby, the transformation. Looks like the hump would be nice sized too.

He is pretty good red at this size, at full size he can be almost all red. Pearling is beautiful on him.
