thanks. there is also an AC110 on there as well as the twin XP3's. I think it should be enough.

what tank are you planning?
Ya, I think it should be good enough as long as you load the XP3 with lot of bios and is good with your scheduled water changes. I'm planning to run a similiar filtraton setup when I get my tank.

I cannot tell you what tank it will be as it will be a surprise.:D

Dleomd, the longer you let your tank sit the lower the priority you'll give it. Then eventually, you'll loose interest and sell the tank. As Gold Medalist Olympian Neil Armstrong would say, "Quitting is never an option. If you have a chance, you got to go ALL THE WAY!";)

dude, Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon.

I can't believe how fast those barbs are growing, how are your nitrates?

what are nitrates? :)

lol, last time I checked they were not that low (around 40-50mg/L), which is to be expected with heavy eaters, even with a 1/3d WC each week like I do...

the reality is, I am probably overfeeding a bit, in the sense that I am probably putting in the same amount of food now as I will when they are 12 inches long..they stuff themselves anyway..

I imagine as they grow, I may do WC's twice per week. its not hard since I use the python, and my water is cheap here in Canada. (ie $40 for two months worth of use)

so doing an extra WC in future each week is not going to be an issue if I need to..

Thanks for the encouragement (I think!). No, not quitting. Just delayed. Was getting ready to start my stand then a buddy got his first tank, a 55gal, and asked me to help him with a stand for it. Hopefully......

just for delaying your tank, you should take his 55 and use it as a sump for your tank:ROFL:
LOL Don't think I haven't thought about it!!!! But...Mike's a good friend. He'd have to be!

Those lemon barbs are awesome. I have never seen any in person. Will definitely investigate those.
