do you have any pics? :) I would love to see that.

I have plenty of pic's. But have never figured out how to post a pic. The computer I have right now is a little to slow, so to waste space saving my pics. from the dig. cam. would take up to much memory. So I guess I'll have to wait till I get my other one back. That's another thing, my computers are broken down more than they work, so I'm just glad to be able to get onto MFK again right now.

If memory serves me correctly, were you the one that had 2 very large yellow finned barb's back in the day.

all you need to do is save one pic from the camera to the computer, and click "manage attachments" when you post, find the pic and click it. it automatically does everything else, if this helps you.

Thank's

yes, I had two 18" Lemon fins. if you look back through this thread, I had 4 that I grew up a bit in this tank, but they were not looking nice at all, and they were chewing each other up (and the redhooks were chewed too) thats why I made the switch to the red tinfoils..

It's funny, I always liked yours so much, but never found them for sale. One day I walked into a lfs, and there they were. Two really nice lemon barbs,(around 8"-9"). The price tag was a little bit high, but acceptable considering how long i've been searching for these fish. After a quick inspection of the tank I notice a shipment of id sharks in with them, most were missing one or both eyes. I asked the guy about it and he said I'm getting ready to get the id's out right now, they came in last night, and over night the lemon barbs ate most of their eyes out.:WHOA:
Needless to say I left them at the petstore that day!

picked up a couple of those new 'super red' gold severums today on impulse buy. had to fill the quarentine tank when I got home so excuse the bubbles all over the fish LOL

they will live in this tank for a few months I think, to grow them up a bit and to make sure they do not have camallanus worms.

many of the severums at the LFS's in my area seem to get severums in with these dreaded worms in from the suppliers.

I want to ensure these guys are clean before they go into the 150g.

since the worm can live inside the fish for a long time before being visible out the anus, the quarentine period has to be long.

wow, they look good, i would think that most lfs in the same area would have the same severum supplier (a whole batch of fry is a lot for one store).
