Just don't worry about it and set the thing up there are alot of people on This forum that will say that this won't work but most of the nay Sayers have never had one of these setup and if you were to listen to them you would be spending thousands of dollars on a huge tank or diy pond not all of us have the money or time to undertake a huge build but alot of us have large fish so you have to decide what's more important making all the flamers on mfk happy or your fish and yourself like I said many thought my pond wouldn't last long but with stingrays catfish gars pacus and many other large fish (jumpers included) all lived in the pond no problems except jumpers (I kept it covered with clear plastic sheeting) and the power loss I never had a problem actually it was probally the easiest tank to maintain I have ever had but I also had a large wetdry with alot of water movement
I second. See my avatar? It's a couple of days short of two years running. No problems at all, but I've added a few additional layers for insurance.
