Is that notch on the right side from the previous owner? Can't beat free glass that thick though... Dimensions are great, gives you lots of room for lots of options..

if you're talking about that have-circle in the glass it's going to be an overflow ... I had that drilled, we'll see how it will work - like I said soon I will get more stuff done and at the same time I will post some more pictures.

Very nice build. Did you cut the glass yourself? If so, what did you use to clean up the edges?

The glass is 5/8 thick ... I didn't want to risk ruining the sheets that I had ( they were like 72X42 ) I took it to my local glacier he did it for real cheap and said that it was the very first time he cut 5/8 glass ( since they do not make it in US ). The braces, the overflow box and drilling was me haha

He didn't use anything fancy to make the edges dull - I'm pretty sure all he did was a bit of old school sand paper - just to take the razor sharp edges out.


Little update ... on the best looking wall/side there is some kind of chip that doesn't let me to relax and go ahead with the project - I will resilicone the front wall.

It's taking me forever cuz there is a lot of stuff going on in the house =(
