Thanks, I know some places, I think price would probably be a give away as wellIts hard to tell archers apart so buy from someone somewhere reputable. I've got a local store, nice store, but youve got to watch them hes got archers all the time and they are listed as clouded archers for $9. If it were true that would be a steal of a deal. But they are most likely brackish types and will die within a year being in fresh water. I took a pic and sent it to someone who would know they said deffinately not clouded but could be another of the fresh ones wasnt able to discern the true identity off the pic as they are all very similar.
Thanks, doyou know if they’re big enough to hang with my current stock? I looked online and all I I found is that they’re over 6”I have 2 of the T. Blythii and 1 I believe is T. Microlepis.
Ya butterfly would be too small, I was thinking some type of semi aggressive cichlid that gets about 8-10 inches, but can’t think of any than hang out near topI would go with a butterfly fish but it might be smalll
try a type of large cichlid
Yeah not sure if they could. I'd worry about the pike and the shovelnose. The archers only get to about 6" and they are slow growers. But they do hang at the top of the tank. Thanks, doyou know if they’re big enough to hang with my current stock? I looked online and all I I found is that they’re over 6”
The pike isn’t bad, he stays on the bottom, the warmouth and shovelnose might be an issue. I’m thinking about a chalceus. Is a 4’ 120 big enough?Yeah not sure if they could.
