120 gallon stocking ideas

The pike isn’t bad, he stays on the bottom, the warmouth and shovelnose might be an issue. I’m thinking about a chalceus. Is a 4’ 120 big enough?

I would say not. Mine kept smashing it's face up in a 6 Foot. They don't move about much, but when they do it's like an uncontrollable missle in my experience.

Was a lovely fish though. If you get one to grow out - make sure it is well fed before you buy it. Lots of scrawny weak ones out there. It'll certainly occupy the upper region of the tank like you want it to.

I was thinking if i did get one, I would stick a bunch of plastic plants, ( the ones used in reptile cages) on the sides. That’s worked for skittish fish in the past. I’m looking at other options too, specifically a needle nose gar. or and an African tiger pike. Tough choice lol
