I would say no to the Red head tapajos, they can get quite big. Guianacara spp would be OK in that size tank but might struggle with the severums. Lots of plecos that stay small, some of the larger corydoras could work.
when those sevs max out , and you take into account the acara and 8 rainbows with a big pleco.. you going to be maxed out on the bio load with 2-3 of those sevs , then silver dollars?.. trust me .. i've done overstocked, it gets bad for the fish.. the extra nitrates (long term) add stress .. it adds up slowly , but it will cause stress.. here is the real deal.. if you get no aggression, if your nitrates *stay* below 20 and the cichlids don't get hole in the head from stress of overcrowding, then your golden.. but.. it's really unlikely to work out .. trust me , don't get cocky , it will come back to bite you in the long run..Wait i don't know if any of you can read but i said i have 6 severums growing out in a diff tank (from a batch i got off some guy online), how many can i keep together full term.
I never had a plan to keep all 6 severums, i'm definitely keeping 2 but i was wondering if anybody would say 3
which is 5-6 cichlids in total with my other fish and rainbow fish, not really crazy overstocked on the bioload at all.
I'm not fussed about the dollars, but i do want a large plec.
I was looking at
2-3 Severums
1 x blue acara
2 x blood parrots
8 x rainbow fish
1 x plec
Ok thanks for the feedback, so..
2 x Severums (gold and rotkeil)
8 x boesmani rainbows
what else could i keep in there, any kind of loaches? rainbow shark? what type of plec?
Could i get some red head tapajos for the bottom?
I think you’re fine as long as you can manage bioload. Just be prepared to move, somebody if aggression becomes an issue. It just comes down to personal preference and if you have the means to move a fish if needed. Many people are too obsessed with tank lengths but width and height are part of it. If you had a 55,60 or 75, then yeah, overstocked. But in a 120, your tank will be full, but can workWait i don't know if any of you can read but i said i have 6 severums growing out in a diff tank (from a batch i got off some guy online), how many can i keep together full term.

So what did you end up doing with the 120? What do you have?To anybody who does not want to needless troll and argue and just offer some advice...
4x2x2 120 (brand new, arriving tomorrow)
my stocking plan is
3 Severums
2 Blood Parrots
1 Blue Acara
8 Rainbowfish
1 some type of plec
Is this way to much?
No worries, was just curious how it turned out since I have the same tank with a similar bioload, I was more mindful of what part of the tank each fish would occupy thoughHe hasn’t been here since December so you might not get an answer.
