120g Saltwater Fish Tank!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the floss should be changes out when it gets dirty and i recommend taking the bio balls out entirely because they become overloaded with nitrate overtime... you could rinse it out but its just a hassle. the sump is pretty much where you keep all your mechanical stuff, like heaters, skimmer, dosing, and top offs

keep it simple

ok, I have 55$ in my paypal acct, I can either get a Trigger fish, or what i am thinking get some stuff for my tank, I was thinking a refugium?

do you guys think i should get a refugium, or set up a quaritine 10g tank? which i can also use for my new fish and stuff, I have a 10g tank with guppies and i can take some of the lr out of my sump an dput in the 10g, with the live sand from my 120 and some saltwater.

most importantly i think you should get the QT. a fuge is nice but if you have plenty of rock and sand and do reg WC's the nitrates shouldn't be that big a deal. and ick is. so my advise would be to get the QT and just buy a few of the larger damsels for cycling then when you have mo money get the trigger or something.

are you keeping the tangs and batfish?

the Saifin Desjardini and Yellow Tangs are alive and well, the yellow tang is still recovering. The batfish past away during the transporting before i put it into the tank.
