Nice video...as far as the females behaviour...I don't have a scientific explanation... i have observed with my pair is that the female gets very aggressive and testy with the male..what I can speculate is that the female wants the male a certain distance away to protect the outer area of their territory... (seem like he is moving closer to the fry when he charges )when he is not she gives him a reminder to get back on that while she protects the fry directly...my female acts like yours towards my male if he dares to eat if I offer food also...as if to say neither of us get to eat yet until I say its OK....

Went to my lfs, had been thinking about getting a bichir for awhile now, they have some nice delhezi bichirs about 5" long, willing to trade me one for 20 of my jag fry when they hit 1".any thoughts? Worth it? Will go back tomorrow and get pics of the bichirs

Don't know how good it'd do with your jag pair but if you have a separate tank, I'd say that's a very good deal. Beats getting over run with baby jags, you'll run out of room eventually. I say get whatever you can for them
