Nice mate :) , I've got seven fry left in my tank the cats have eaten them through the egg crate :(
more chance of saving them next time around once I move few things around and the jags get there own tank

No idea mate I'm having same problem , I'm guessing pretty soon as feeding and free swimming

I'm probably going to keep a small section from the babies and put the parents back in main tank

When should the fry be separated from the parents?

... I've noticed my fry numbers starts to decrease after about 2 weeks... So I would say by then you should you get them in a grow out tank or have the parents separated from them if you want to raise a large amount of fry... I have not removed fry in the main tank from the last spawn and I have a mere 5 left... Didn't have a tank currently available yet..... And and the pair is starting to look ready to go at it again....
