You could probably keep a tire track (my personal favorite) in there with a ck and jd. That would be very rewarding imo. You could also get a couple of decent sized G Tiles. Maybe you could do a larger peacock eel but I'd be careful because the ck will get big enough to kill it eventually. I would stay away from things like zig zags, etc with those tankmates. But my ck and tire track used to get along just fine....until the tt got out of the tank and died. So that's what you have to think about there. Eels are cheap and great but you need to secure your tank because they do get into trouble sometimes.

You can not keep any ray in a 150g for very long. The rules are kind of...not different...but very precise with rays compared to other fish. The footprint is a big deal but the water has to be very good and they are pollution machines. You can maybe get by with a 150 with a smaller ray for a while but you have to do some serious water changes.

I kept my 20ish inch jardini in a 5x2x2 (150G) for the majority of his life, his enjoyed it sometimes I think he likes it more then the 7FT, I honestly did not see any issues with it he could of stayed there for ever health wise, I only moved him over as I hate seeing him wag his tail 2 times and hit the glass but even in the 7ft its to small when he was smaller it was enjoyable but I have decided against ever getting an arow again, Imo they need a massive long tank to be enjoyed, I find the swimming the best part of them its like a panther in a cage in most tanks. As far as keeping them happy/uncurl id say the 5x2x2 was pretty fine.

as stated above rays are a different game, you should be aiming for 2.5-3ft wide+, Peacock bass could also work for some time, They wont last there whole life but a while will work.

Id go for some Jags or even oscars if your after a larger fish which it seems? maybe even a smaller frontosa col.
