i have a sixteen inch puffer and I think I have tried small tetras at three different times. When he was different sizes. They always turn into overpriced feeders. So i have given up on the small tetra idea.

thanks for all the feedback... i guess all in all if i ever do try it, then it means cheap fish only, and if it doesn't work out, then at least i'll know i didn't buy one of those 1% Fahaka's...

You got it--it's totally hit or miss with these guys. Even my fahaka, after letting fish live with him for many years, just picked one out one day to kill for no apparant reason.
