:headbang2So I now have a 125gal (72x18x24), I have an FX5 for filtration along with two powerheads. It will be housing my gold ck, a synodontis, and maybe my red devil, depending on aggression. I think the fx5 should be sufficient for filtration, if I'm wrong, let me know. As far as setting up the tank, I'm going to use the gravel I have in my 3 other tanks to fill it.

So, does this sound good? (I am aware that my ck is going to get huge and I will need a bigger tank eventually.) Is there anything I can improve on or should know about the fx5 before setting this tank up?:D

Really? No one wants to offer input, advise, or has an opinion? Jeez:cry:

I'd get an ac110, six foot tanks need 2 filters regardless of their size.

I'd leave the filtering as is, and add a power head or either an airstone to break up the surface tension and add some oxygen. Try one of the Koralia power heads.

i got 2 fx5s, 1 XP4, 1 2075 and 2 koralia 4 powerheads in my 180.
Over filtering is the key to healthy fish in my opinion

fluval 404 and a magnum 300 plus two powerheads in the substrate
to keep the water moving on the floor on meh 135
