  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ugh I need to change the T8 bulbs I have, they keep giving off this nasty green look on my camera. Need a new camera too..... Let me know if any of you NWies are interested in the larger male Cit. I'm keeping the smaller one more than likely. Larger one is loves that mirror lol. Hard to from the pics but the smaller males nuchal hump is popin'.

Finally got that nasty free floating algae cleared up, no more green tint. They are all still pretty skittish, need to rearange the tank because they always chill in the corner with large driftwood. Both females seem to be displaying for the male.

The Midas look like they are enjoying themselves

do midas keep either their solid colors, or mixed with white colors- as they grow up? I mean, if you get a solid baby will it stay solid- or can that change?, kinda curious...
still haven't decided what I'm doing with the 180G.

Depends on the color morph. Some are solid and some are mixed. Mine are yellow and white but you don't notice the white unless its you get up close. When they are young they are a pale greyish color and usually peel to their adult colors.

is there an approx age/size when their adult coloration firms up?

Depends on the fish. I've seen some continue to morph at 8"+. Most aren't anywhere near finished morphing at 1-3". White can become orange, orange can become white, etc-etc.

Looking good, Chris.
