I am 86 ing the UGJ (after perfecting the current) due to the tank going to be planted. I will be running the two fx5 for now. One will have a spray bar with hopefully enough surface agitation and the other with a two way snap seal directional head.
I am excited its in it's desired location and I can start putting her together. Although between two jobs I don't know when I will have time.
All well it's worth it.

I really like this! I have 2 XP3s on my 125g. I am needing to replace my spray bars

There's water in it now!!! Well not a lot of water but there's water. I have the two fx5 cycling but one of them is making a lot of noise.

i just have a side question- are xp3's any good? i mean i couldnt afford the fx5 when i got my tank at first, so the lfs told me the xp3 was the next best thing, is this true?

I have personally have heard both good and bad about xps. I had an xp4 for a very short time and was impressed but I would not trade the fx5 for it. I personally think the fx5 is one of the best out there.
