Looks real good! Especially for being your first one. I like how the trim looks with the tank. Great job!
I should of done some cornering with the trim. But it was mid 90's out and I was tired of working on it.
because you've got a ply over hang you could put a sheet of oak vaneered MDF on the front. Cut the doors out of it and put a little bit of oak edging on the door holes and the outside of the door (make the hole smaller and the doors bigger). little bit of wood stopper in pin holes, bit of corner beeding to hide the MDF edges, stain and laquer, it'll look like an oak cabinet!
Very good idea. I'm getting ready to build my stand for my new 150 gal tank and I like the looks of this one. Very well done!
