125 update! shark!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
holy crap. ok. alot to respond to.
i guess i should have added that all fish are about 2-3 inches and the shark is about 6 in. i am getting my fish small for a reason. so that when my 240 gets ready to come to my house they will be a good size. and when the shark out grows that my friend that works at the seaworld here is wanting him. so :P
and my filtration is a 4ft sump with culerpa a algea scrubber and an octopus extreme 350 skimmer :) i have basically got stuff for the 240 and put it on this tank for now.
and i have about 11x turn over an hour with the pump i have.
i think my filtration is good lol.
and rods predator
Ingredients include:

Shrimp, Scallop, Oyster, Clam, Squid, Octopus, Perch, Green Nori (porphyra sp), Red unroasted nori (porphyra sp) Krill, Brine shrimp, Golden pearls, Garlic, Selco, Astaxanthin (Haematococus pluvialis). i think rods is one of the best foods out there for salt water fish
i was just asking about somethin with sponge for the angel. i actually might start buying live sponge for him and see if it makes a diff.
oh and i soak all my food in garlic extreme and vitamins

Sorry scales...I know that you probably have long term care in mind, but for the time being I have to +1 this...
lol thanks fleshy. i do agree with him. this is good advice to a beginner or someone asking for advice.
im sure someone will learn from it and hopefully will save some animals in the future.

X 2 on that I'd skip 240 and do 350++ those guys are gonna out grow the 240 quick, think long term your gonna have a 12 in angel, 30+ in shark 12 in trigger, + possibly a tusk at 8+ inches and no real clean up crew...pretty crowded... Watch the trigger they will get meaner as they age

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! its kevin disguised as chloe!!!! :nilly::nilly::nilly:
lol about time you chime in. but what do you think of the haters? and the fish? lol
yall will really like this..... i think im goin to order a blue spot stingray too :D

p.s. am i on the wrong site???? what happened to the MONSTER in mfk, yall are saying my fish are too big. this is nonsense. go hassle someone with an oscar in a ten gallon.
btw oscars get about the size of my angel and yall say my angel will out grow a 240...... so no one should have an oscar in anthin less than a 240....? and betas should be kept in 125s too :ROFL:
sorry for my outburst i will let yall get back to bashing......:screwy:

This is the prob with this site nowadays Bryan. You can simply post a pic of one of your fish, first couple of people say "Hey cool, nice fish" Next group of know it alls "Your doing it wrong!!!" On a more serious note though, you and I both know you need at LEAST 1500 gallons with your stock. Oh, and your filtration is crap! haha

lol. your right kev! and seaworld sucks at acring for fish lol!
my fish have a bright future with me as there owner :)

see all my threads die! grrrrr

Dude keep rockin the way you are man... you have plans and if your like me you will make it happen... true MFKer style...

Theres still a bunch of Monster Keepers on MFK me for one however the only thing monster goin' on in my Salty is the price tag!

Luv your stock would do similair and maybe someday I will - posted before, if I can maybe someday do a Pred tank w/ ****** Trigger, Snowflake Eel, Flame Angel, Tusk, and as many more as I could squeeze. The Majestic Angel is gorgeous - nice pick up one of my favs. Any chance of gettin a glance at your dwarf angel?
