Here is my 125 Central American tank. I started this tank in June, and just added the 2 red devils this last weekend. Enjoy!

Oh, nice. Can't wait to see them grow and who you have to get rid of in the end. A tank full of baby cichlids is like a story unfolding. They look great, too! :)

At this point I think out of the salvini i have 5 males and 2 females. The two in pic. 5 are the biggest out of the group and i wouldn't be suprised if they pair up. If they do, I will take them out and get them their own room and try to breed them. I will narrow the sals down to 4 males at most in the tank. Just letting them all grow out in the mean time. I am interested to see where this story goes too. Thanks!

This is just a guess, but it will end up with out everyone except one red devil, or a pir of red devils, just a guess, since mine has taken over a 125g.
Very nice tank and fish, keep up the good work.

Thanks! Yeah, the devils are a concern in the future. As of now they are getting pushed around by the carpintis. The carpintis and salvini have been in the tank about a month and I just put the devils in on Tuesday. So far so good! But I hope it lasts.

nice lookin tank. is that a royal pleco i see??? nice lookin tank

It is a royal pleco. I had a friend of mine tell me that I will probably need to remove the royals in 3-6 months or scoop out dead plecos. thoughts?...

Nice fish, and I like your aquascaping.

I have a 4-5" royal that I keep with a 6" bumblebee cat and a 6" male saxatilis pike in a 55. The royal rules the tank. I don't know how yours with fair with a rowdier group of CAs, but I know one thing for sure - he will get seriously outgrown.

It looks like he has a lot of hide spots so he may be good indefinitely.

How big do royals even get? I thought they grew to about 10"???
