Danios are fun to watch. There is always action in the aquarium. So far they haven't been at risk of being munched on but the cichlids also are not done growing yet. Someday I could see the midas and texas taking down a couple of em for lunch. Oh well!

Oh the midas is running the tank now and has been for a little while. Yeah, I did add that flowerhorn and I really like her but wish it was a he. Tank full of dudes and one chick. Could be drama. I think the one GT though might be female as well. The flowerhorn was sure acting close and cuddly with the alpha salvini for a bit but then she left him for the midas but didn't lay eggs with either she might just be too small. Don't know that I would want a hybrid of either of those anyway. So far it is all working out! Thanks fishfreak!
 
Here's a bit of an update. Did a water change last night and took a few out to measure them. Took some quick poor shots too this morning. The water was still pretty cloudy from the water change. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Here's the new guy. He's a supposed "red texas" from petsmart. We'll see what happens to him.

Sorry it's taken me awhile to answer you. Well, too be honest, I got him and a few others from a friend of mine. My friend had about 7 of them, didn't want them, so I bought them from him. I only kept two of them. And you can see now that one has gotten quite huge. 9"!!! He's a beast. I love him! He has some junk on his tail though. Looks like "White heads" or zits. Don't know what it is for sure but it doesn't seem to phase him.
