How hard were they to come across? As far as I know, none of my lfs's sell them, and out of all the websites that sell fish, only one carries them. Thankfully the one site that does have them doesn't overcharge.

Honestly i just got super lucky as they do seem to be quite rare in the trade, guessing coz they are a some what newer species discovered in the last few years???

However, there is one LFS here where the owner is a big fan of rare gobies etc, so whenever they pop up on his import list, he tends to try bringing a few in...

Damn you're lucky. I have to order them, and the shipping is nearly as much as the gobies.

They were discovered in 2014, and we're introduced into the hobby even later. They're a very new addition to the aquarium hobby, which is why so few people have them, and one of the reasons why I want them.

^ you're as bad as me then...

Not really into owning fish i can see easily whenever i go out, so when i came across these amazing beauties i had to jump even though they were far from cheap...

One of the themes im trying to go for with my 16g is uniqueness. I don't want common fish that nearly everyone has kept at least once. I want something to make my tank different. Annieaes are colorful and unique, two themes im aiming for.

Its just a shame some of these rarer gobies require brackish water to breed, otherwise it would be great to have a tank full of them...

Hmm. Unique could be a word for it

One bit of uniqueness I may be getting is mini bolbtitis trimmings

You have a wc Sen. I don't think anyone else on the forum does.
There are a couple.

This is referring to my aquascaped tanks, I don't consider the big tank an aqua scape

^ to be fair, you could throw a bunch of substrate in a tank and place one rock inside and call it a minimalists aquascape...

It all just depends on the style and category it fits in...

Fair enough. It's not one I put much effort into, my 8 gal is my playground for that.

I already have berried shrimp a few days later
