Those should all be pretty cheap. Everything for my High Tech is expensive. The lights, co2, and the fish and filter I plan to buy. The plants I bought a couple days ago were $45, $15 for each cup. Thankfully all I needed was one of each.

Wow! That's crazy, I have a cheap source of plants online. Someone is sending me some trimmings of bolbitis and maybe other stuff

Still expensive for me

That's why I'm so happy the Monte Carlo is growing so fast. The last thing I want is for it to grow a couple inches in a month like the baby tears. They grew so slow they couldn't compete with the algae and got choked out.

That's why I'm keeping to lower light. You need to find the balance, with good substrate fertiliser and lower light the plants get less algae on

Like I said earlier, it was the Window that caused my issues. The plants are all doing fine now, and the only algae left is what hasn't died off yet.

Angelphish Angelphish if you wait for your 16G to establish first, you could potentially add the single dwarf in there as long as you keep him well fed and dont mind losing some fry and baby shrimp???
How many shrimp should I have before I get the puffer?

Fat Homer Fat Homer Do Dwarf Puffers prefer snails or shrimp? I have quite a few snails, so I'd like the Puffer to go for those over the shrimp. I also have a few larger Ramshorn and Nerite snails I'd like to keep, all 1/2"+. Would the Puffer go for those, or just the smaller snails?
