wood and rocks, structure adds a lot imo

I plan for my tank to look somewhat like this. Dense plants in the back and around the driftwood, and a large open area for fish to swim in.

convict360 convict360 Fat Homer Fat Homer Will I need any special food or chemicals for CRS? I'm considering bacter ae for all of my shrimp tanks.

CRS as in Crystal Red Shrimp???

You will want to keep them in a very mature tank with stable parameter and temps of around 18'C - 24'C max...

I personally feed mine specialzed shrimp food to ensure they get enough calcium and nutrients, but there are a lot of options out there...

For Cherry Reds, they are more forgiving, stable tank parameters and temps below 28'C with enough vegetation inside and they do okay...
