13" male umbee

THAT WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF TRYING TO TELL THE DIFFRENT FROM MALE AN FEMALE I WAS VERY IMPRESS, I HAVE 7 UMBEE'S SIZE 3" TO 5" AN I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THEM EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS TRYING TO DETERMINE IF I HAVE JUST 1 MALE, WHEN I BOUGHT THEM THEY ALL WERE THE SAME SIZE BUT 1 JUST GREW BIGGER THEN ALL THE REST, BUT I NEED TO NO THE SAME QUESTION THE LINE ON SIDE OF THERE BODY DO THAT REALLY MEANS MALE OR FEMALE BECAUSE MY BIG 1 LINE NEVER FADES AN THEIRS JUST 1 MORE SMALL 1 WITH THE SAME LINE THAT FADES AN COME BACK BUT THE OTHER 5 NEVER SHOW A LINE AT ALL.

Steady growth. Got him two years ago, Oct. 2005. He went from 1.25" to 13".
 
I JUST FOUND 10 1" UMBEE'S FOR 80$ BUT THE OVER NITE SHIPPING IS GOING TO COST ME 63$ BUT WHAT OTHER CHOICE I HAVE THATS MORE THAN HALF.

The pleco is about 9-10". I also got him last Oct., 2005. He was only an inch long. I couldn't even see him for several months until he started growing.

Already a looker. Wow that really is a big difference. Im noticing some similiarities between your male and female of your fish so looks like a might have 2 males but who knows they are still pretty small so im probably wrong. But im going to seperate them soon before they can kill each other.
