How large of a tank will you need to breed these? I had a couple of these plecos when I was about 13 years old (when they cost about $30), wish I didn't get trade them back to the store when I left for college. Is this thread going to be dedicated to your breeding program???? If so, consider me subscribed!
Here's a photograph of his entire body, for scale it's easily 4" from the tip of his snout to the end of the gill bristles.
And a head on shot while he's mowing down a big chunk of zuchini. He ate an 8" slice of it down to the skin overnight.
