What do people think about me adding a pair of Andinoacara Coeruleopunctatus with these guys?

thanks Andy
I'll stick with my opinion that nanos do best as the only cichlid in their tank. Plus, a. coeruleopunctatus are virtually impossible to find in the hobby. I've only seen them for sale once in the past 10 years. I had a group, but unfortunately ended up having the alpha male kill off the other three before I could get them to spawn.

Well pairs can put a wrench in the tank dynamics, but your going to have at least a pair of nanos anyway after a while, and it's a 6 foot tank with relatively small fish, I think it would be fine. Would be a cool addition, usually when you think acaras you think SA, but those guys are found in panama. And so are the nanos

I had an other think again and I think Im back to where Jon is... I think it could potentially work but I dont want to push it. I have pushed fish too far in the past and lived to regret it. I think it would be a fun combo though and maybe a pair of each could work? But not with my 7...

Im going to pick up an other pair of Mollies today, an other female for the harem and an other male to spread out the aggression of the alpha. I am also going to get a trio of Montazuma Swordtails.

I have also found some wood to complete my scape which should be delivered next week! And I am getting some Salvania Natins as well to try in my tank, I had some frogbit in there but the roots got nibbled and it just seemed to not do very well. I read somewhere they dont like it when the tank is sealed and the top section is quite humid, which my tank is. The Salvania sounds like its a bit more fool proof so will see how it gets on!

thanks :)
