Thanks! Here's a video overview I've been putting off for weeks!
The plan is to eventually replace this tank with something a bit bigger; in the 7' to 8' range. At that point I will basically making the tank look like it's built into the wall so the laundry service will not be visible. I'll also be able to plum the tank and/or sump for auto water top-off.

Okay. That was Friday evening that I saw them spawning.
Came home from work today and she (Leia) had picked the wrigglers from the rock and deposited them in a previously dug pit.
If these GT's are anything like any of the other substrate spawning cichlids I have spawned I have a couple/few days until the fry are free swimming and that is when aggression from the parents will hit another level.
I'm curious to see how this plays out because Bruce is still splitting his time with both females.
Will his instincts to defend the fry override his instincts to try and get the second female (Ventress) to spawn?
I doubt it. I get the feeling Bruce is more of a horn dog than a father, but we'll see.
You know, I am not sure. I have not been able to watch the tank as closely the last couple days. I will watch for that.
I was just curious because Greenie would let Oliver come near them, but if she felt he was too close she would warn him off. If that makes sense. Like a slight rush towards him to get him to swim away.
I kinda suspect he was eating some fry that got away from mommy too. Not the best dad yet. Lol
