I can give you the name and number of the fish store were I bought it at 3 inches.
You can give them a call, and ask them why they brought it into captivity.

The tank is 300 gallons and 8 feet long, for right now he has more then enough room.
Im sure there are many many 14inch fish out there ,that are in alot smaller.

You're gonna have to dig yourself a pond for that thing. I'm a musky goof and have always wanted to get one but you need a tank the size of a swimming pool. If thats a male he shouldn't get any longer than 48". Good luck to you!
