Yes the ones I have are wild caught. In polyptetus the female tends to grow larger than the male. I have not heard of any CB mokes. Polypterus in General are hard to breed. There are some members on MFK that have breed Polypterus but not only are they hard it breed it's hard to find the eggs before they go bad or are eaten and it's also hard, expensive, and time consuming to raise the fry. Even if you do all that stuff right they may still die.

Ok, thanks for all the help you have giving. How much did you give for yours? I could imagine theyr exspensive, like all other exotic species.

I got mine for $90 and it was worth every single penny
