wow that looks amazing well done.

the best thing about your design is as they grow you could put a wooden rim on it and have the full tank of water plus a load of basking area.


as for plants you could try jungle vals they are big fast growing and massivly tough. plus can grow in almost no light.
 
nice turtle pond! you might want to think about access to some real land because they will reproduce someday. also i keep livebearers with my turtles . i consider the ones that get eaten as turtle snacks. the ones that survive manage to reproduce and will help keep your water clean as turtles are messy eaters. i also use water hyacinth and apple snails. they will eat some of these also but it seems to balance out in a nice natural way. good luck.

fewer things are cooler than an indoor pond..but a indoor turtle pond...I bow to thee
