Vinnie, you've just got to let me put that in my signature lol! Now that's funny.Vinnielp;3281296; said:Sorry Ms. Twisted Penguin, Believe me when I say I referred to you as dude in the most feminine way possible.
white poo sometimes means internal parasites. it is caused when the digestive system has been infected and the food is not being digested properly. it may also be a sign of hexamita caused by a certain type of protozoans. try reducing the temperature to 26 deg celcius coz these protozoans thrive in high temperatures. stop all te medications because sometimes wrong medications are more dangerous than the disease. first try to find out the cause..Vinnielp;3257955;3257955 said:My Flowerhorn is wasting away and after 14 days of various treatments I have little to no improvements.
The flowerhorn is 6 months old and about 6" in length. He has a 55 Gallon to himself.
I am unsure of my current tank parameters, but I change 30% of the water every other day. Temp is at 90 degrees. Salt and Epsom Salts are added at each water change.
Symptoms: Not eating, white "cottony", "mucousy" feces, sunken eyes, and decreased energy levels.
Treatments: Days 1, 3 & 5 - dosing of Jungle parasite clear.
Days 7 and 8 Oral dosing of Metro +.
Days 9 and 11 Metro + bath.
Day 13 Metro + bath and methylene blue.
Day 14 Jungle Fungus clear.
On days 11 and 12 the left gill ceased working. Once methylene blue was added both gills functioned properly.
Does anybody have any suggestions. Please help, I don't want to loose this guy.
Thanks in advance.
