15 year old False upside down catfish

Suggestions for a set up for two old catfish ... also have Have 4 10yo silver dollars they used to live with...

Creating set up asap as they were refused on rescue delivery by time waster ...

Are they Synodontis eupterus? If not, what are they? I am not familiar with the common name you are using.

What do you mean by set up, like tank size and scape/furniture?

S. Nigrita are known as the false upside down catfish because of how many get sold to unsuspecting owners as nigriventris but we do need to know as IMO eupterus get smaller than the quoted 12” and nigrata get larger than the quoted 8”.

I agree that eupterus tend to run smaller than 12 inches, but they are able to punch above their weight class like a one footer. This is mine, he is 8 years old and maybe that long TL

Nigrita have been alleged by some to be quite hostile to their kin and maybe other syno species.

The larger the tank, the less the aggression.
