I am interested in purchasing a 150 gallon soon and the dimensions at my LFS are L72 x W20 x H24. They do not have any in stock and would have to order it.

That is a strange size! Most tanks fall into the 18" or 24" sizes. Did the local shop provide you information as to who the tank manufacturer was? If so you could see if they have a web site with pictures.

everyone here has either big BIG tanks or smaller tanks. i have a 125 gallon (L72xW18x24H) i wish i could help, im thinking about getting a 300 and can't even calculate how much work i would have to do to move it into my room lol.

I know that Fujimoto out of California makes it. I already tried searching but they dont have a specific site that i know of. Just info on where they are located. Thx though.

if you are not dead set on the 20" width, Aqueon (aka Allglass) makes a standard "150g" which is 72 x 18 x 29.5 tall (notice that it is taller than most other brands so you actually are getting a 165g for the price of a 150g). I have one, and it looks like this.

its a great looking tank, if you don't mind the extra height.

your LFS could order you one easily. they normally have clear silicone, I had them custom make me one with black silicone.

just thought I would throw out the suggestion since this is a standard tank from them and you can see exactly how it looks without having to guess..

here is a link to a current classifieds thread with a 150g for sale with pics.

the dimensions are 72 x 24w x 20 tall. are you absolutely sure it is the width that is 20" and not the height?

because it seems that a few manufacturers make a 72 x 24 x 20 150g but its 24" wide.

its like a 180g only a bit shorter. I think glasscages makes one too.

This is my thinking. Not sure I would even buy a 20" wide tank. You'd have to have stuff made custom as standard is 18 or 24"

Thx for the pix Volt and awesome tank. I really like how that 150 looks too. Anyways i am 100% sure the width is 20". After writing it down the first time and not being able find anyone with a 150 at those measurements i second guessed the measurements too but i called them and asked specifically what each measurement was and i was right the first time. I still have time so im still debating what to do. I even been playing on that google 3D program to have an idea. I wish i had autocad..lol.

Might be a stupid question but what kinds of things do you need customized as far as the width goes?
