If a poly swims and bugs the wolf it will get ripped apart. When i say small pike i mean one that grows around 10 inches like a belly crawler. My venny pike would own a oscar
I agree

will a black shark fit okay? I just want to make sure theres enough room in the tank. I know the get up to 2' will it be ok with the O, and loaches? should I maybe only get 3 loaches instead or should I get smaller loaches and still stick with 5

if the black shark will work does anyone have a website that I can order one from?

anything that hits 2' is gonna be a no-go in that tank for life, the tank is only twice it's body length

but thats if it even gets 2'.. just because it says it can doesnt mean it will..

Black sharks are one of the most aggressive fish you'll ever own. I had to help ArapaimaG remove his 2'ers from the 52,000 gallon tank because they killed 3-4' redtail cats and other huge fish. They are best with small fish ironically, like African cichlids. Anything big and slow like an oscar is gonna get it's slime, skin and fins chewed off eventually.

oo. okay what about the shovel nose or a bala?

I wouldn't get just one Bala, you should have a few as they school. What sort of shovelnose? A TSN will outgrow the tank quickly. A Lima shovelnose is a better choice, they average 18" or so in most tanks.
