Nice! Looks like it is coming along very well. Good handywork.

well thanks.. never thought it would be so much work.. but i know it will be worth it... really dont know were to go with the filtration. ive been reading about under gravel jets.. wat do you all think of this.. it really does make sense.. any pros and cons..

nice build. one question for you what is the sectioned off area for? I see it hasn't been sealed or I woulda thought it was for the filter. I would use it as basically a HOB style filter. you could plumb it to draw off the other side of the tank with a couple pipes burried under the substrate and would give you good flow. thats what I would do with that type of setup. maybe I missed something though and I'm way off base keep it up I'm interested now.

yes not sealead as yet... was just gunna put a canister filter in there.. and just resin it. i did think of using it as a filter but wasnt too sure. would thAT BE GOOD

yes it would work fine as a filter if sealed. do a search on it and you will find a couple others have done it. just set it up that the pump is in the bottom and pushes the water up through the filter. it eliminates the worry of power outages and should be really quiet. if you cut down the devider between the 2 areas to below the water level you will be silent. put your heater and bubbler in the filter side as well and then there is nothing taking away from the view of the tank. there is a 600G build being built right now on here like that. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=221526 check it out
