150g Looooong up and running

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The tank has been on that stand for over 15 years, all welds are in tact. I'm really not to concerned. Back in the 80s Double stacked rod iron stands were very common. Only real prob with them is they are ugly.

ok noprob. was just giving heads up, if that hadn't already crossed your mind. i do really like the tank, would be a awesome addition for anyone. and your right those stands are a ugly sight.

ok. just be careful around it. 15 years of use may soon take its toll. let's hope it can hold for many more years to come. your tank rocks but we wouldnt want it to roll, do we? :)

is that enough width for the arowana to turn comfortably once over a foot long?

Currently my silver is in a tank that is 60" x 18" x 26" and he is 15-16" long. At this time when he turns he uses less then half of the 18". So I think he'll be OK for a few months. In late July or early August I should be to the point of setting up a 300 gallon tank, he will have to hold out till then.
