155 Or 180 For Tank Size

Yeah you can get acrylic from fishtanksdirect. Glass from customaquariums or glasscages.

This! I would personally go Acrylic from FTD if I had the money to get one. But Glass or Acrylic, if you get a tank that size brand new it's not going to be cheap by any means.

So I use the Bulkhead to block the holes the in the overflow?

You put a bulkhead, then a a screw on cap on the bulkhead piece inside the overflow. You can buy the caps from Home Depot or Lowes.

Do you think a Common Pleco would be good in a 96x18 185 gallon?

I would say no without knowing which species of common pleco you will be buying. Some commons reach 24" easily. I would not get a pleco as a cleanup fish. They produce more waste in the tank. You can get a smaller pleco like a bristlenose pleco if you simply want to own a pleco in the tank.

Thanks, the only website with a 96x18 is glasscages, and I like it. I’m contacting them about getting one.

Here's the ftd acrylic version

I think it will be fine for a common pleco. Obviously 24" width tank would be better.

First, I didn’t make the mistake of buying a Trinindad Pleco for a cleaner fish, when I saw one 2.5 years ago it was the fish that made me want to keep fish in the first place. Yes, but most Commons, like Trinindads usually max out at 15-18”. The Width is a little tight, but the length would be really nice. My Trinindad Pleco is about 8.5” and started in a 75, and now it is in a 135 until I get and setup the 185.

Thanks, I was looking at Tsunami tanks, but I was planning on using 2 Canister and 2 Aquaclear 110 HoB filters as well, and they would not fit on that tank. That’s why I was looking at the dfwaqariums.com.
