$3.70 here in freaking midwestern Louisville, KY.

I have been in Atlanta, Birmingham, Montgomery, Pensacola, and Nashville over the past few days and gas here has been a good bit more...thats crap!!

I remember when i had a scooter and put a buck in; lasted me three days before next fill up; the good ol' days.
 
On the 22nd of April (wednesday), PETROL (Not gas) (why do you call it gas when it's cleary a liquid, but does however dissipate into a gas) the price was $1.27 a litre. 2 days later it was $1.49.

All us wanker yankees call it "gas" as a shortened form of the word gasoline. We are not referring to the natural state of the compound as either a solid, liquid, or gas. ;)

Actually, at current exchange rates, the equivalent of a gallon of gas in the UK would come out to six dollars and eighty four cents, on average.
