I'm sorry but that looks like a jardini to me.

That link is a little misleading, the last few pictures of that adult is also a jardini, not a leichardti.

Coloration can also be very unreliable, as it differs greatly from fish to fish.

lighting can play tricks on the eyes...but the patterns on the gill don't lie

nope, just the pattern on the gill id it to be a jar

He knows what he's saying! (Since he used to have a nice Jar! ) Lei doesn't have marking on the face, not at the area near the eye
