The wood is Pohutukawa, its a piece off a big dead tree thats been sitting on the beach and got bleached by the sun. Its screwed to a big piece of perspex to keep it standing upright and initially to help it stay under, although I think now it sinks on its own.
Nice setup! Your greenie reminds me a lot of my own, they're awesome fish. Love that fat ornate too!
